CMS
Series
Telnet and Dial-Up Console/AUX Port Switches
CMS Series Console Port Management Switches provide secure, in-band
and/or out-of-band access to RS232 console ports and maintenance
ports on UNIX servers, routers, and other network equipment. System
Administrators can access remote devices in order to change configuration
parameters, connect users to restricted ports, collect buffered
data, and perform a variety of other administrative tasks. The CMS
is ideal for colocation applications; two different password security
levels protect access to restricted ports and configuration commands.
Users are allowed to connect to only the ports provided by their
passwords, while supervisors are allowed to connect to any port
or invoke configuration commands. In addition to the convenient
features found on our other CMS units, the new CMS-32 also includes
Syslog Reporting and SNMP capability. The CMS is available in 32-port,
16-port and 8-port Models.

APS
Series
High Speed Buffered Console/AUX Port Switches
WTI's APS Series High Speed Asynchronous Port Switches provide a
convenient means for connecting multiple RS-232 devices for on-site
and dial-up remote communications. Rapid data throughput and full
modem and data flow control make the APS the ideal data switch for
today's high speed communications applications. Each port can be
assigned its own baud rate, parity, flow control, and other communication
parameters. The APS automatically converts these parameters when
dissimilar ports are communicating. User-defined passwords protect
access to restricted ports. The APS is available in 16-Port, 8-Port,
and 4-Port models.

A/B Fallback Switches
Network disasters are often imposible to predict; there is usually
very little advance notice when a communication line goes down.
Our A/B Fallback Switches provide an effective means for dealing
with such unanticipated events, by monitoring activity on primary
hardware lines, and then automatically re-routing data signals to
a back-up line when undesirable changes in line status are detected. |
PLS-345
Network Ready Physical Layer Switch
The PLS-345 is designed for applications that require automatic
routing of Cat5 10/100Base-T signals between a common jack and an
"A" and "B" jack. The PLS is also ideal for
switching RS-232, DSL, RS-422/485 or telephone lines. This versatile
A/B switching system can be controlled over any TCP/IP network,
or out-of-band using an external modem and basic VT100 type terminal
emulation.
|
AFS-16
Automatic UTP Fallback Switch for Digital or Analog Data Lines
The AFS-16 is a versatile, physical-layer, A/B fallback switch,
which monitors activity on primary hardware lines. If line status
changes, the AFS quickly responds, and re-routes data signals to
a backup line. The AFS-16 is ideal for switching 10Base-T, RS232,
RS422/485, or analog lines.
