MCCT TITAN Ringtone
In this age of fast track and high technology people all over the
world are communicating more easily and with more frequency. Communication
is in the form of voice and e-mail for the most part and the convenience
of cell phones and PDA’s, for example, create an “anytime
– anywhere” environment. And people are people. Everyone
wants to be unique and have his or her own distinctive “trademark”.
MCCT has the technology to make this happen.
In a crowded room or sidewalk it is not unusual
for several cell phones to be ringing at the same time. Unique RingTones
solves this problem and with MCCT’s RingTone Application people
can call a number, shop around and download one of thousands of
unique ringtones to be used on their cell phone.
 MCCT’s
RingTones & Logos Application uses TCP/IP socket connections
to communicate to the SMS (Short Message Service) Gateway. Once
the packet is received by the bi-directional Gateway it will send
the selected ringtone or logo to the caller specified cellular phone.
MCCT’s Ringtone Application
A caller dials the Ringtone telephone number and is presented with
the first choices: Enter the 5-digit code if it is known, browse
by artist or browse by category. If s/he enters the code, the name
and artist is presented and then the tone is played. If it is the
desired tone, the caller will be prompted to enter his/her mobile
telephone number and the tone will be downloaded in a short time.
If it is not the correct tone the options are to hear a different
code or to browse by artist or category.
Browsing by artist or category will provide the
caller with a multitude of choices until one is selected. Once the
artist or category is chosen all of the selections are then given
until a selection is picked. As above in the entering of the 5-digit
code, the tone is played (the 5-digit code is also given) and it
can be downloaded or the caller can browse for more.
MCCT’s Logo Application
The logo application works much in the same way as the RingTone
application. The primary differences are in the choices. Choices
consist of Themes and Titles where voice descriptions of each logo
are presented. The download is accomplished via the SMS Gateway
as in the RingTone application. All of the browsing options that
