MCCT TITAN RAIDER
The MCCT RAIDER Series, is a Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID). The MCCT RAIDER system utilizes RAID 5 technology coupled with the reliability of the Ultra Wide DPT SCSI controller. The RAIDER is an excellent compliment to the MCCT TITAN I & II IVR Server platforms dramatically increasing voice and data storage. In the voice storage arena a RAIDER system is a necessity when implementing large voice mail applications or archiving voice verification records.

Every MCCT RAIDER System is equipped with two redundant hot-swappable 250 watt power supplies. These redundant power supplies ensure continuous 24 hour operation. Visual indications from both the front and rear of the RAIDER give the user a one glance notification that a supply has failed which can then be removed and replaced without any interruption of service.

The RAIDER can be equipped with up to eight 32 or 72 gigabyte Ultra-160 Hard Disk Drives depending on the configuration. The RAIDER can accommodate 2,500 hours of voice storage/73.0 GB of data on the low end to 17,000 hours of voice storage /500 GB of data on the high end at 64 KB sampling rate. The hours of voice storage can be doubled if the voice is digitized at the lower sampling rate of ADP6. All MCCT RAIDER Systems are configured with one spare drive allowing for automatic recovery when one of the disks in the array fails. Both audible and visual alarms will indicate a drive failure allowing for easy identification and replacement of the failed drive without interruption of service. The RAIDER is further enhanced with the DPT management software allowing to remirror drives during real time operation and log important failures.
